Feeling Blue? Here are four things you can do today

Who doesn't love a person who’s full of integrity? Over the years I've realized that people who have high integrity are those who take the time to take care of themselves. I love to surround myself with these type of vibes.

It's taken me personally some time to come to terms that asking for help is a good thing, and self care isn't selfish. No matter how busy life gets taking at least 20 mins a day to do what makes me happy, keeps me going.

Is that nuts? Maybe. But so is living unintentionally.

Taking therapeutic baths and  making bath bombs with CBD, Lemongrass, Grapefruit and Cypress have been my go to after a long day or for a post workout recharge.

Also making sure my diet has ample amounts of Magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin C & Fiber.

Why because, these vitamins and minerals have to be intentionally consumed to intake the daily recommended amount and of course they add to our bottom line of health and happiness.

Magnesium: Relaxes and Relieves muscle pains and great is at balancing insulin levels. Magnesium can be found in flax seeds, almonds and beans.

Vitamin D: Antimicrobial and great for keeping bones healthy and strong. Vitamin D can be found by getting out in the sun☀️ ,in Salmon and egg yolks.

Vitamin C: Antibacterial and aids in the development and repair of all muscle tissues and can easily be found in cherries, lemons and Chili peppers.

Fiber: Is great for keeping your gut healthy but also great for balancing estrogen levels. Found in dark leafy greens, artichokes, strawberries and avocados. Certain types of fiber can promote weight loss and lower blood sugar levels.

Although your self-care practice may look different, I encourage you to try new foods, take care of yourself and keep a food and cannabis journal as you introduce new foods.
