Microdosing for the Modern Human

Microdosing Cannabis is the act of consuming small doses of cannabinoids, so low that they are unlikely to cause psychoactive effects in the mind. Mircodosing is becoming increasingly popular amongst professionals and women cannabis users alike because of its discreetness,  lasting effects and benefits for those dealing with chronic pain and high levels of stress.

As a crohn's survivor, mother and budding entrepreneur knowing how to consistently microdose is critical  to keeping all the figurative “balls” in the air. Knowing what works really comes down to three things Percentages, Strains, and Milligrams

  1. Knowing your numbers comes down to knowing the amount of THC/CBD in your cannabis/products.

  2. Knowing your strain profile Is it Limonene, Alpha-Pinene, Beta-Caryophyllene (or another terpene) dominant?

  3. Knowing your dosage just means what ratio works for you? *rule of thumb start low and slow

This is my current regime (it changes a few times a year) that can be used as baseline, but you have to find out what works for you by keeping a canna-journal.

  • Morning 5 mg THC/ 10 mg CBD

  • Mid-day 3 mg THC/ 5 mg CBD

  • Evening 5 mg THC/ 10mg CBD

I consume through juices, condiments, tinctures and teas, roughly 10-15mg of THC and 25 mg of CBD per day to manage my symptoms.

Where to start for starters:

Beginners

1-5 mg THC

Intermediate

5-10mg THC

Advanced

11-25mg THC
